Sakej Ward on Warrior Societies

In Episode 68, we talked to Sakej Ward, a Mi’kmaw warrior from Esgenoopetitj (Burnt Church First Nation). Sakej has dedicated his life to living a warrior life in defence of sovereignty, lands and peoples.

He shares the knowledge and skills he has gained from his Mi’kmaw knowledge, military training, graduate education and on the ground experience with Indigenous peoples all over the world.
