Episode 114 of Warrior Life Podcast is a special conversation with basketball phenom, Michael Linklater from Thunderchild First Nation, who represented Canada at the FIBA 3×3 World Cup.
Michael has won many awards for his achievements in sports as well as his work inspiring Indigenous youth. He is the founder of the international campaign – Boys With Braids – celebrating Indigenous boys and their hair. He wanted to help educate people about the cultural significance of Indigenous men and boys who wear their hair in braids.
