Courtney Montour on Her New Documentary

In Episode 94, we talk to Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) filmmaker Courtney Montour from Kahnawà:ke about her work in the film industry and her latest documentary that will premiere at the Hot Docs film festival in May 2021.

Her film is called Mary Two-Axe Earley: I am Indian Again and shares Mary’s work as an advocate pursuing justice for First Nations women and children due to sex discrimination in the Indian Act which removed them from their communities.
