In Episode 76, we get to speak with Dr. Bev Jacobs, a Haudenosaunee lawyer, activist and academic from Six Nations of the Grand River territory. She shares with us her journey of education, advocacy and politics.
She has also been supporting the land defenders at 1492 Land Back Lane. Six Nations members have been peacefully occupying lands at Mackenzie Meadows – lands which rightfully belong to Six Nations as part of the Haldimand Tract deed.
